House Update and pregger update…

House:

We still do not know when we will be moving.  We got an inspection done and it was totally fine.  There are a couple rough patches on the stucco that need to be repaired, but we will have that done along with new gutters on the house…probably some painting in the future also!  We are so desperately excited to move in, but sometimes the wait of a great deal is worth it in the end!

Baby:

Baby Question Mark is doing well.  Moving like crazy and I am starting to definitely feel large.  I think the baby is so big, that sometimes I will be sitting or standing and I get something hard like a butt located in an awkward position.  I am starting to get a little anxious about meeting him or her and starting our new life.  Only about 10 weeks to go.

For the family in Nevada, my mom is hosting a little shower for me on June 23rd…I truly don’t need much, but I am excited to get together with everyone to talk baby!  Especially since it will be the last time!

Happy Mother’s Day…

We spent the say doing exactly what I wanted to do….we had a nice breakfast at Peg’s Glorified Eggs and Ham and then went out to Davis Creek for a family picnic.  We met up with my mom’s side of the family and then went down to the lake for some “Beach Time”…the girls love that!

We are in Escrow…

Yesterday afternoon, we found out from our realtor that we had gotten the final approval letter and we began escrow…so what does this mean?

We have until June 27th to close the deal…not 30 days. ( It could be anytime we want, although we have lots of things to do first!)

I need to get an inspector. ASAP.

We will be in before the new baby arrives…yea!

Anyways, we will keep you all updated!

28 weeks….

Month Seven White

I am officially 28 weeks today!  Everything is going really well and I am starting to feel anxious about many things…My back is not really hurting like it was so that is great and I am feeling A LOT of movement ( even flips…I think!)

Do I think it is a Boy or Girl?

Well I really can’t say…

Why I think it is a girl…

I am caring this baby the same as my previous two…HIGH ( in my ribs)

I am great at making girls!

Why I think it is a boy…

I thought I would have at least one boy ( not all girls)

A few different symptoms in the beginning!

I have a great boys name!

No girls names!

We will see, only about 10-12 weeks left….

Mabel went to work with Brian…

DSC_0191

April 26th is National Bring your child to work day, and let me tell you this was the best news Mabel had heard in a long time!  She dressed up and had a work bag packed, all in preparation for the BIG day!  Mabel has a very inquisitive mind, and this was something that she had wanted to do for a very long time!

A weekend of 90 degree weather…

We had a busy weekend of Cousin A.J’s birthday and lots of warm weather!

Mabel and I finally planted our corn we had been growing indoors, although we may not be at our house long enough to see it produce!

Brian and I decided to power wash and clean up the backyard…

The girls also decided to enjoy the warm weather with a little sprinkler action!

Silly Bea…

She will one day be very mad that I posted this, but I could not help it…she is getting very independent when it comes to dressing herself!

Brian’s Surprise trip to Sacramento…

We had a great trip away and got to really visit some things unique to Sacramento including the Delta King, Old Sacramento, Fat City Restaurant, a Movie, Basketball, Guenther’s Ice Cream, Sutter’s Creek and the Black Chasm Caverns…

Amazon Baby Registry…

I wanted to let everyone know that I added a tab for our Amazon Baby Registry.  Since this is our 3rd baby, we really DO have everything we need but we are wanting to go full force into using cloth diapers…if you are wanting to get something for us, we would love you to check out the registry!  You can check it out on the side bar or here also…

http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/baby/ref=cm_br_hp_vw_rd?ie=UTF8&type=baby&homepageredirect=create

We also started a baby pool…check it out!

Start entering your guesses!

Six Months…

Actually I am a little more than six months, but that’s ok ( I still feel pretty pregnant!)

I had my 26 week check-up today and everything looks amazing!  I have gained a whole 4 pounds…since the beginning!  The baby’s heart rate was 149…which would predict BOY according to the old wives tale, but really my doc said that is not always the case.  Although the Chinese Lunar calendar predicts GIRL…so we will have to wait and see!

Either way I am ready to take on another girl or a boy.

I am still having sciatic nerve pain in my leg, but with that the heating pad has become my best friend!

Life is really good though, I am enjoying the miracle of life and the girls are super excited about a BABY coming….

We have yet to hear anything about our house, but it will be 30 days this weekend that we had our offer accepted, so I will be making a little phone call very soon!

Other than that, I am surprising Brian with a little trip this weekend.  He has no clue where we are going other than that the girls will be with my parents and he had to take off work!  I will post pictures later…

Happy 32nd Birthday to Brian…

DSC_0822

He requested a Lemon cake with flowers and so we decided it would be fun to make him a garden cake….bugs and all!

DSC_0825

His mom has drawn him one picture of every house he has ever lived in, and since we will be moving eventually she drew one of our current house!

DSC_0819

Operation was in order also…the girls wanted to get this for Brian and so that is exactly what we played!

DSC_0829

The River School Field Trip…

We went to the River School for Mabel and Bea’s field trip.  The River School, is an organic farm that grows food for the public to purchase through a CSA.  The girls learned about gardening, chickens and making honey!  Other than being a little windy, it was really fun!

Five Months…

Month Five

I am technically 21 weeks, but who’s counting!  Everything is good, baby is moving a little more now and I am definitely feeling some changes.  I have been having some sciatic nerve pain in my low back and butt…it definitely makes me cherish my normal body, but I know the pain is all worth it!

Last night at the dinner table, we started talking about names…it will still be a secret until the birth but here is a list of names created by the girls:

Holly Shiftwell

Carla

Finn McMissile

and

Princess

and let me tell you, none of those are in the running, but it is still cute that they are thinking about it!

The Big Ultrasound…

Today we had our big Ultrasound where the radiologist checks to make sure everything is running the way it should be.  We saw the hands with five fingers, the feet, the four chambers in the heart, the brain and the spine.  The ultrasound tech also said Baby Question Mark was moving a lot…

DSC_0658

In this picture, you can see the face in profile with two eyes and also the tummy with the belly button and umbilical chord.

Anyways, I am feeling very blessed and relieved to have a healthy baby at this point…

In other news, the house we put an offer on was not accepted.  The person who got it put a full cash offer in and we could just not compete!  We are definitely OK with this though, because we know that it was not meant to be and something better is out there!

Happy 31st to me…

DSC_0610

Today was a great day filled with cards and gifts from everyone…I feel very blessed to have such great people in my life!

DSC_0613

Brian and the girls got me the sunglasses that I really wanted…I can’t wait to show them off!

I also got my much requested Banana Cream Pie…

DSC_0611

Mabel and Beatrice LOVE birthdays!

DSC_0612

This weekend we are having a little birthday getaway trip to Sacramento for Ben and I ‘s birthday…it is also an excuse to get out of the cold snowy weather we have been having!

In other news:

We made an offer on a house, and are waiting to see if we get it!

Our last ultrasound is on Tuesday, March 6th.  We cannot wait to see baby question mark in their profile!

A little Henningsen Ranch visit…

This last weekend, we were pretty free and so we decided it would be a good time to go visit my grand-parents and the rest of my family at the Henningsen Ranch. We started off our day with a great visit with my Gramps and Gramsy. My goal this year is to spend a little more time with them and also have the girls see a little bit more of the ranch!

We then went over to see my Uncle Don, Aunt Caroline and my cousins. We had another wonderful visit and got to see lots of animals. Mabel even got to drive the tractor with Don for the first time!

On the side note…my mom had emergency removal of her Appendix on Friday.  She is doing better now, but in a lot of pain.

I also started feeling small flutters, which I am taking as the first little movements…

We are also in the process of trying to find a house.  We were Pre-Approved and getting tons of listings from our realtor.  Its  fun, but a big step at the same time!

A simple year of LOVE…

This year our Valentines consisted of a school valentines party, lots of love in the form of cards and presents from family, a dinner at Café de Adriane ( AKA dinner at home) candles and all, and the best present; an ice cream and red velvet cake topped with chocolate ganache.  We are lucky to have each other and valentines is really meant to think about those you really love and care about!

I especially love and care about this guy…it was Brian and I’s 10th valentines together…can you believe it! I Can’t…

We got snow!

Thank the Lord…the girls have wanted snow in our backyard for a long time!  We finally woke up to about 3 inches this morning…although by the time we made it into the backyard it was more like 1 inch ( that Nevada Sun…which I love, decided to melt everything!)

17.5 weeks

Month Four

I actually have some what of a belly now…I also had to show everyone those lovely pants that pregnant women have to endure. ( It probably brings back memories for some!)

About a week ago I had to take a blood test that tested for down syndrome and other chromosomal problems and it all came back negative…yahoo!  I was actually a little nervous this time, because with age, your risks are higher…

Baby looks great and has a very strong heart beat, I have gained a whole 2.5 pounds, better than my 0 last time!  It shows that the baby is at least gaining weight and not me!

The girls get to hear the heart beat every time and I think it is slowly starting to sink in.

I feel great, but I definitely has less energy ( probably due to the girlies!)  It is also a good indication of what my next few years will look like!

Brian and I did get out first present from our friend Dennis and his parents…a gift card to Babies “R” us…

Our big Body Scan ultrasound is in about 2-3 weeks.  We are excited and anxious to see that “Question Mark” has all its parts!

BTW, my parents started calling the baby question mark, and I love the nickname! So question mark it is for the remainder of the pregnancy!

Our little family is slowly expanding…

We had our first OBGYN appointment today since the ultrasound and everything is looking right as it should be.  (This time around I am a paranoid wreck because of the previous miscarriage)…the doctor keeps telling me everything is PERFECT!  The girls got to hear the babies heart beat and were very excited!

Month Three

I have not felt good for the last 5 weeks, and I am starting to think there is a bit of hope for me…

Aside from the pregnancy, Beatrice officially started preschool last week!

DSC_0461

DSC_0463

Mabel was so excited to have her sister in the classroom right next to her…Beatrice did great and loves every minute of it!

I am also transitioning to help teach in the 5 year old room…so easy and so fun!

A few days ago, we made also made a big decision in our household and this is one that we had been contemplating for a long time…we got rid of CABLE!

None of us watch that much television and with the new digital TV over air, we thought that would be more than enough for us.

So Brian and I purchased and installed an outdoor antenna…

This is part if my new year’s resolution less is more…and so far it has been great!

Happy 2012, we are having a baby!

We are pregnant with our 3rd baby and it is due July 23rd, 2012.  We are very excited and this is truly a great blessing from God.

DSC_0431

Month One

Month Two

Month three is coming soon…I am a little behind on taking pictures!

My new years resolution:  LESS IS MORE

I have decided to make this my motto for the year…being pregnant with two young children will be a challenge, and so I think this will help me out greatly!

Less TV more family time

Less internet more reading and art

Less saying more doing

Less eating out more eating in

Less spending more saving

Less sitting more moving

These are just a few to mention, but I am feeling in need of MORE simplicity…

Here is to a less is more kind of year!

Day 24…

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Today I am thankful for LIFE. Life is a beautiful thing and I thank GOD everyday that I have such an amazing life. If you are actually reading this today, just remember to live each day to the fullest and be thankful for everything you have! God Bless You all and Happy Thanksgiving! Adriane

Day 23…

Today I am thankful for my brothers.  This afternoon I will be going out to lunch with them and I am super excited.  My Youngest brother Ben lives in town but it busy with college and all the things that you do when you are 22.  My other brother Adam who is a little younger than I lives in Riverside, Ca.  Every chance I get to see him is very important.

When deciding to bring a sibling into the world for Mabel, I thought about my life and how special it was to grow up with siblings.  I wanted to give her the same experience in life…so today I am thankful for my brothers.

P1000905

Day 22…

Today I am thankful for my house.  A home is what you make of it.  A home is the memories and the people that live inside of it…with that being said, I am thankful that we have a had this lovely house to share so many memories in.  This next year, we may start looking for the home we always imagined but it will not be easy and leaving this house will be very HARD.  We love our neighbors and our neighborhood.  Times are tough in the housing market, and even though it is a great time to buy…we are going to take our time and be thankful everyday that we have such a wonderful place to call “HOME”.

DSC_0187

Day 21…

Today I am thankful for Noise!  Yesterday Brian played in our church contemporary band and it was fun to have the girls see him standing at the front of the church making beautiful noise!  They did a great job and I am glad Brian is able to share his musical talents in that way.

We are a busy household with lots of noise, and sometimes I wish it was quite for 2 minutes, but then again that would not be normal!  I am thankful everyday for the different noises I hear and that I can actually hear them!

This is the time of year, when there are a lot of amazing sounds…choir music, family talk, Christmas music, babies…we need to be thankful everyday for the sounds we hear.

DSC_1731

Day 20…

Today I am thankful for Reno and the community. This last year, the people of Reno and the surrounding areas have experienced a lot of tragedies. Thankfully none of those events have affected my family directly, but I want to say that I feel truly lucky to not only live in a beautiful place, but to also have a community of people that are very devoted to their city! Yesterday at Target, there were some Red Cross volunteers asking for donations of any sort…I was glad to purchase bottle water to help those in need. I have my complaints like anyone would have, but I really am thankful everyday for living in such a great place!

Day 19…

Today I am thankful for the public library. Every Thursday and Friday at our local library, they have toddler story time. There are very few weeks that we do not attend at least one of those days. The girls love picking out new books every week and listening to the librarian read new books and sing fun songs! The power of reading is so important and I am trying to encourage to the girls how important reading is. Thankfully they already have a love for books!

image

Day 18…

I am thankful for Disneyland and Vacations.  Brian and I love Disneyland, and we love to travel.  It is important to us to make time to explore and see different things.  I am thankful everyday that we are able to go on vacation, and have the girls experience new things with us.  I personally feel that you cannot live your life without ever seeing what else is out in the world…I hope to see many other NEW places in the future!

 DSC_0023

P1000192

P.S.  I love this new commercial from Disney…it sums up how I feel about travel!

Day 17…

Today I am thankful for Sight. Yesterday I took Beatrice to her bi-yearly opthamolagy appointment. She has what is called the Brown Syndrome. It is not something that is bad, but it will never go away.

Brown Syndrome is a rare eye disorder characterized by defects in eye movements. This disorder may be present at birth (congenital) or may occur as the result of another underlying disorder (acquired). Muscles control the movements of the eyes. Some of these muscles turn the eyeball up and down, move the eyeball from side to side, or enable the eyeball to rotate slightly in its socket. The superior oblique tendon sheath of the superior oblique muscle surrounds the eyeball. The symptoms of Brown Syndrome are caused by abnormalities of this tendon sheath including shortening, thickening, or inflammation. This results in the inability to move the affected eye upward.

She can see perfect and as she gets taller you will barely ever notice the condition. With that being said, I am very thankful for Sight. I am thankful that Beatrice has PERFECT sight and that I am able to watch her and Mabel grow because of my sight. Can you imagine a world without sight…something we take for granted more than anything else!

image

Day 16…

Today I am thankful for my car. I hate to be thankful for material items, but it is only human nature to NEED material items. A few months ago, we purchased a new car in hopes that it would eventually fill our growing family. Since then, I have been thankful everyday that I drive it. I am spoiled in it. I love my heated seats, I love my leather, I love my sunroof and most of all, I love that it holds so many darn things! The girls can get in and out of it like it’s no big deal and all the doors open with the click of one button…how sweet is that! Our life is busy, but this car is definitely high on my list of things I am most thankful for this year!

image

Day 15…

Today I am thankful for everything warm…Everyday I wake-up to my slippers and my robe ( which Brian likes to make fun of me for!).  I like to live in this, when I do not have to look normal!  I am also thankful for my lovely fireplace, which I run most of the day, because it just takes off that extra chill that is taking place!  As I go from the cold outside to the warm inside, I always think for a second how lucky I am to have a warm roof over my head.  There are many people right now that are having a hard time even finding warmth…I am thankful that I do not have to worry about that!

DSC_0474

Day 14…

Today I am thankful for God…He has blessed Brian and I in so many ways. I strive to walk in his path and to share his love with my girls everyday.  At Sunday School yesterday, Mabel told me she had made a cross and was learning about the Lord.  She was pointing out every shape that had looked like a cross and said that it was for the Lord.  It was really cute!  I love how he is working through us and her.

Day 13…

Today I am thankful for good friends…  Mabel had her EARLY 4th birthday and it meant a lot to both her and I to have such good friends over.  I am so thankful for all the love and support of my friends!

DSC_0434

Day 12…

Today I am thankful for my health.  Everyday I hear of people with a lot of health issues, and I am thankful that mine and my families have been so minor in the big scheme of things!  Health is important to me and so I strive everyday to create a really healthy lifestyle for my whole family.  Sometimes it is out of our control, and there is really is nothing you can do about it, but I try to think of  everyday as another healthy blessing from God.

  DSC_0376

Day 11…

Happy Veterans Day…Today I am thankful and great full for all the men and woman who have served to defend our country.  We are the greatest country in the world, and we deserve nothing more than to be thankful for all the people that make this happen!

As a reminder, I thought I would share this…

On November 1919, President Wilson proclaimed November 11 as the first commemoration of Armistice Day with the following words: "To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations…"

Day 10…

Today I am thankful for my creativity and my love of the arts…

Sometimes it is hard to explain to someone the passion you get when it comes to certain things, but when it comes to anything that is homemade, I get really excited.  I love sewing, drawing, painting, decorating, building, gardening and DIY.  I know that sounds like a lot, but it is fun and I usually can imagine what something will look like before I even start…it’s the crazy creative mind I tell you!

2006.02.11DSC_0006

Day 9…

I am thankful for Mabel’s preschool.  After doing a lot of researching and quite a bit of soul searching, I found Reno Family Co-OP, and it has been a pure blessing to us.  The people we have met and the education Mabel is receiving is far above my expectations.   It is the preschool that I had been looking for and I am thankful everyday to not only get to take Mabel there, but also get to use some of my teaching skills this spring!

Day 8…

Today I am thankful for Wood Rodgers.  If you are not familiar with what that is, it is Brian’s place of work.  When Brian started working their 6 years ago ( I believe that’s how long!) I loved the way the company treated their employees and I STILL love the way things are being done.  It’s a great company to work for, and I feel blessed every day that Brian has such a good job; one that allows him to take care of our family!  Thank you to Wood Rodgers and all the people that make it such a great place!

Day 7…

Today I am thankful for the Beautiful fall Nevada weather.  I have spent a few days out in our front yard raking and mowing up leaves.  Not only have I thoroughly enjoyed it, but sometimes I wish the Fall would last forever!  We have had tons of fun playing in leaves,  enjoying the colors and soaking up the little bit of daily chill! I love all the other seasons, but as Mabel would say in pre-school “Autumn is a great month”…she is learning about seasons!

Day 6…

Today I am thankful for long talks on the phone with my brother Adam.  Last night he called me and we had a great talk about life, cars, websites, and just talk…I miss my brother, but know that he is making a wonderful life for himself down in Riverside, California.  I don’t particularly like talking on the phone ( I would rather see someone in person), but if that is all you have, then talking on the phone is just that much more special.  Thanks Adam for the call, and I can’t wait to see you in a few weeks!

P1000898

Day Five…

I am thankful for all my In-laws.  There is not a day that goes by, that I wish that I lived in the same city as my parents and my in-laws, but on the other hand I feel truly blessed each and every time that I get to see them.  I am so thankful for the time, energy and money that goes in to making the trips from Portland to Reno.  Not only is it super important to Brian and I, but the girls cherish every second of it!  Thanks to ALL the parents for all you do!

( Dan- I did not have a picture, but thank you for coming down to see all of us, and also giving us the BEST dirt on the block!)

Day Four

I am thankful for imagination.  Yesterday the girls and I had a fancy tea party.  We dressed in fancy attire, sipped pretend tea, and had every animal in our house attend.   I see this occur daily, and it makes me SMILE.  The girls have an imagination like no other and I love seeing it.  I love seeing Beatrice talk on her plastic phone for a half hour, and I love seeing Mabel make car noise’s while driving her matchbox cars around. This is REAL life in a 2 and 4 year olds mind! This is the Imagination that is precious, and I cherish every minute of it!

Day Three…

2006.02.19DSC_0074

Today I am thankful  for my Dad and Mom.  I never realized how hard they worked to make life so good until I became a parent myself.  I am one of those great full people that get to see or talk to my parents on a weekly basis.  We have an amazing friendship, one that I hope my girls and I will have when we are older.  Thanks for all you do DAD and MOM…

Day Two…

I am thankful for these two beans…

I had to show this video I took yesterday, because it shows a day in the life of my two girls!  I was busy getting ready to go to the store, and they were busy dressing up animals.  I set a timer to tell them we were going in 5 minutes and Mabel says “ Mom- we are not listening, we are busy” ha ha.

I am more thankful everyday for the girls.  They are healthy and prospering in life.  I love watching their love for each other.  They don’t look similar, and they are worlds apart in personality, but at the end of the day when Brian and I say goodnight and close their bedroom door, you can hear them chattering and you know they are developing a special friendship!

I love watching them learn new things, and even I have to laugh at the MEGA attitude I get.  I was excited to find out that we were having another girl, but I am more thankful everyday that I get to watch the SISTERS grow-up!

VIDEO has to be shown in 480P…it will not work in anything else!

One Month of sharing my thanks…

So it’s that time of year again ( can you believe it!).  It is that time of year, to start thinking about all the things that YOU personally are thankful for.  I have been partially absent in blogging on Brian and Ade’s Big Adventure, and that is mainly due to the fact that I am BUSY…I am Sorry.

I hate to dwell on the next year, but not only am I going to jot down things I am thankful for, but also themes for year 2012.

My theme this year is going to be “LESS is MORE” you will understand why, as the month goes on.

So here I go:

I am thankful for this Guy.

I don’t want to sound cliché, but he is my ROCK.  He is my everything.  He is one of the hardest worker I have met.  He puts in long hours at work, and then comes home and still gets on the floor with the girls and plays like crazy!  He adores me and he adores his girls.  He takes care of us.  We love him more than anyone will probably ever understand, and that’s why we are so thankful for Brian…

Painting the playroom…

This is not a paid advertisement by Sherwin Williams, but I just think these paint ads are really cool…

Happy Friday you guys…In the meantime, we have some visitors coming this weekend, so I have desperately been trying to finish up the play room.  This is just a sneak peak….

This afternoon, I will post the AFTER pictures!

New Theme…

I am working on trying to get a new theme on my Brian and Ade’s…it should be totally fun, stay tuned!  In the meantime, I apologize for not keeping up with this as much as I should.  I think some re-working of this site, may give me some inspiration!

We have had an amazing summer so far…most days consist of walks to the park, wild island, play dates, library time, Mcdonald’s happy meals, drumsticks, otter pops, and lots of new experiences!

Brian and Ade’s Big Adventure..I promise I will not desert you!

I definitely need to get better at posting onto Brian and Ade’s but sometimes I feel as if I spend too much time on the computer Smile  Between my blogging for Painting, my excel budgeting, and couponing ( I am not as bad as the extreme coupon lady…but hey it saves a lot!) I feel like this computer is an extra child…I love it, but it can be a lot of work!

Hope you all are having a great summer…I know we have so far!

Here are some pictures from Twin Lakes Camping…

We got a new car!

We finally did it and are super excited by our purchase!

Brian really wanted a VW Routan, and I wanted a white car, a sunroof and leather…we got best of both worlds! Brian wants to take trips to the store every night, just so he can ride in it!

Bum Genius Diapers

I have converted to using reusable cloth diapers on Beatrice.  I was afraid to even go there, but I have lots of friends that use them, and I decided to try it.  Let me tell you, I don’t know why I never did this in the first place!  It saves tons of money, and they are amazing ( Assuming you can wash every day or every other day!)

Wacker Family Update…

I everyone…Sorry for the delay in posts! Gosh what to say???

We have been busy with LIFE.  The girls are your typical 1 and 3 year olds with good days and cranky days!

Mabel is currently transitioning from baby to big girl!  She needs a nap, but she doesn’t want one, so she ends up falling asleep on the couch at 5pm.  She is “CRANKY” from about dinner till bed! She is also bored sometimes, needing some stimulation only a classroom setting will give her! I am definitely looking forward to getting her in school in the fall!

Bea is doing really well and growing TOO fast! I keep thinking “ She is almost 2 and we might need to get on this baby train if we want a 3rd…oh boy!”

She is talking some and she is what I call a total “HAM”, not very serious at all, in fact at the eye doc yesterday some woman said to me “ She is the most happy energetic little girl I have seen ever!”  I took it as a compliment!

She also is a big copy cat of her big sis…so cute to watch.

The girls are absolutely in love with each other, but we do have our little fighting moments!

I once again have to apologize for not blogging about family too much, because my painting blog takes up a big chunk of my time!  As days go on, it gets a little more demanding but I love it, and it is my creative outlet, plus I am meeting some really cool people along the way.  It seems to be really taking off and I can’t wait to see where it takes me!

Brian has been busy working, doing very well.  I think he was born to be a civil engineer.  He also loves his gardening and works really hard at seeding and planting, I can’t wait to see the pretty flowers.

It was a funny sad story about a month ago…Brian and I were in the house and suddenly we heard a big gust of wind and a crash…needless to say, Brian’s green house in the back toppled over knocking every plant he had onto the ground…we re-planted for about an hour!

Hope everyone is well!  The Wacker’s

The cutest Easter cookies ever!

Nestle makes these pre-cut Easter cookies, that are quite possibly the cutest things I have seen in a long time!  I saw them at the store today, and bought 4 packs because I know they will be flying off the shelves!

Happy 31st Brian!

For Brian’s birthday, he wanted to smoke some meat and that is exactly what he did.  We had Brian’s closet friends and family over and her smoked Beef Brisket and Salmon!  It was a good party!
